Leixoes port is the largest seaport infrastructure in the north of Portugal, and one of the most important in the country. With over 5 km of quays, 55 ha of embankments, Leixoes has excellent road, rail and maritime accesses and is equipped with advanced information systems for vessel's traffic control and management.
Viana do Castelo Port
Viana do Castelo seaport is located in the Northwest Portugal in Atlantic cost, by the estuary of river Lima.
The comercial harbour, on the south margin, has the capability for 900.000 tons of cargo / year, including vessels with 180 meters long and 8 meters draft.
Aveiro Port
Located south of Leixoes and North of Lisbon, Aveiro Port is one of th most beautiful harbors in Portugal and Europe.
In 2006, over 1000 vessels berth in Aveiro representing more then 3.000.000 tons of cargo
